I have had a lot of questions lately regarding the role of the Mistress and Master of Ceremonies. Unfortunately, this is not like a title of royalty and just given to someone you would like to honor (i.e. like how most people would think of Godparents). This role is more like your day-of-wedding coordinator. You have spent months of preparing and organizing for your wedding day, but getting married is what you need to be focused on that day! You have your hair to get done, pictures, etc. and the Mistress of Ceremonies is the responsible person that you hand over the day-of checklist to and she makes sure everything is ready on time and the day is going as planned. (The Master of Ceremonies usually is there to run errands and do the grunt work!) S0- choose someone that is well-organized and sit back and enjoy one of the most important days of your life!!
