Downtown Muskegon’s newest and most affordable rental venue.

The minute you walk through the doors of The Block, you’ll see it’s different than other rental halls.  The Block blends modern and classic, with its contemporary urban design that incorporates soaring beamed ceilings, exposed brick walls, hardwood floors, and a landscaped outdoor rooftop deck with views of Muskegon Lake.  The Block also features large windows, a full-service bar, state-of-the-art audio/visual technology, and a balcony that overlooks the main hall.  You’ll especially enjoy your own private dressing room, complete with a bathroom.  The costs of holding your wedding and reception at The Block are the lowest in town, so you don’t have to break the bank to have the event you’ve always imagined.

Venue Amenities:   Our cutting-edge AV technology will assist with all your music, projection and lighting needs, either for beautiful music to accompany the bride down the aisle, or to turn the hall into an exciting dance floor. We are steps away from two downtown hotels for out-of-town guests. We have a separate bride’s dressing room and bathroom.

Catering:  You may choose a caterer of your choice, or bring in your own food.  The Block is one of the few rentals venues in Muskegon that does not require you to use one of their preferred caterers.

Alcohol:  Full liquor license and some of the lowest bar pricing in town.  Beautiful, granite-topped bar, with refrigerator and sink.  Kegerator that can handle a 1/2 barrel or two 1/6  barrels.  State-certified bar tenders.

Ceremony Area:  Hardwood floor or stage in main hall; smaller weddings could be on the landscaped outdoor deck.

Dance Floor:  Included (the floor is hardwood)

Linens:  Must be rented

Tables and chairs: Included:  142 chairs; 10 adjustable-height 30” bistro tables; seven 6’ banquet tables; half round table for unity candle or alter
Space 1: Entire Facility (includes ballroom, balcony, reception area, bride’s dressing room, and outdoor deck; use of our office for catering set up)     

Capacity: 166 seated for wedding/120 for sit-down dinner/180 for roving reception
